After Young Thug hit Coachella with rainbow braids, 6ix9ine answered by putting on a dress.

Tekashi posted a video of himself in a powder-blue outfit and wide hat, mimicking the look Thug made famous on the 2016 Jeffery cover. The message was simple: if Thug was going to wear rainbow hair, 6ix9ine would wear Thug’s old look.

That followed his earlier post: “Rattin wasn’t enough I guess needs to feel more like me… smh.” He also wrote, “U NOT ME GANG. Bro thought this was tuff.”

Thug had just performed at Coachella with colored beads in his hair. Fans compared it to 6ix9ine’s signature style. 6ix9ine treated the comparison as theft and stacked it on top of his long-running “rat” shots at Thug after the YSL case and leaked jail calls.

Thug did not clap back at the dress video. The clip still did what 6ix9ine wanted. It kept the hair joke and the Jeffery reference in the same frame.
