Diamond Brown said she had receipts, and now she’s putting them on the internet.
The mother of Chris Brown’s 4-year-old daughter, Lovely Symphani Brown, has escalated their increasingly public custody and child-support battle by releasing screenshots of alleged private messages that she says contradict parts of the singer’s public account — including his claim that she has prevented him from seeing their daughter.
Diamond’s posts arrived after Chris accused her of keeping Lovely away from him and said he hadn’t seen his daughter in seven months. Chris also disputed Diamond’s allegations that he had harassed men she dated after their relationship ended, while several of the mothers of his other children publicly came to his defense.
Diamond responded with a lengthy video and screenshots.
Among the material she posted were messages she says show that she invited Chris to see Lovely during New York Fashion Week, an alleged exchange involving Chris’s manager attempting to arrange a face-to-face meeting between Chris and Diamond, and purported private conversations with Nia Guzman — the mother of Chris’s eldest daughter, Royalty — that Diamond says complicate Nia’s subsequent public defense of the singer.
The screenshots don’t independently prove every allegation Diamond has made against Chris, particularly her much more serious claims involving threats and harassment. They also don’t settle the couple’s custody dispute.
But they do add another layer to a fight in which both sides are now accusing the other of presenting the public with an incomplete version of what has been happening behind the scenes.
Chris Said Diamond Was Keeping Lovely From Him
The latest explosion began after details from Diamond’s court declaration became public.
Diamond alleged in court documents that her relationship with Chris ended roughly two years ago and that the singer became angry when she subsequently dated other men. Most seriously, she alleged that Chris made death threats against her most recent boyfriend and continued threatening both him and his twin brother. She further claimed that third parties had participated in threats and that similar alleged harassment contributed to the end of a previous relationship.
Chris has denied the harassment allegations.
An email attributed to his attorney and included in reporting on the dispute said Chris denied Diamond’s accusations and requested specific information so the allegations could be addressed.
But Chris didn’t leave his response to his lawyers.
He took the fight to Instagram.
“Not allowing me to have time with my child so you can run with a false narrative to the court is disgusting,” Chris wrote, before emphasizing that he had not seen Lovely in seven months.
That admission — and Chris’s explanation for it — quickly became one of the biggest disputes between the two parents.
They agree on one important point: Chris hasn’t seen Lovely in months.
They sharply disagree about why.
Chris says Diamond hasn’t allowed him to have time with their daughter.
Diamond says Chris hasn’t been making the effort.
And that’s where her screenshots come in.
Diamond Posts What She Says Is Proof She Invited Chris
Diamond’s response directly challenged the idea that she had simply refused to let Chris see Lovely.
She displayed alleged messages concerning Lovely’s appearance at New York Fashion Week, presenting the exchange as evidence that she had invited Chris to be there for an important moment in their daughter’s life.
According to Diamond’s account, Chris was already expected to be in New York around the time of the event.
She says she invited him.
She says he didn’t respond.
The messages Diamond released appear to show an invitation rather than a refusal, although the screenshots alone don’t establish the complete history of communication between the parents over the entire seven-month period.
That limitation matters.
One invitation doesn’t independently establish what happened during every attempted visit, scheduling discussion or custody exchange over several months.
But it does directly challenge a simplified version of the dispute in which Diamond never offered Chris an opportunity to see Lovely.
“How am I not allowing you to have time with Lovely?” Diamond asked in her video.
Diamond Admits Chris Is Blocked
Diamond also made an admission that could help explain part of the communication problem.
Chris is blocked.
She acknowledged that directly while responding to his claim that he couldn’t see their daughter.
Diamond nevertheless argued that being blocked doesn’t mean Chris has no way to arrange time with Lovely.
According to Diamond, Chris has previously used other people — including his manager — to contact her when he wanted to communicate.
She then displayed what she described as another receipt: an exchange involving Chris’s manager, Ant, allegedly reaching out about arranging a face-to-face meeting between the two parents.
Diamond said she declined that meeting.
That creates a more complicated picture than either side’s social-media posts might initially suggest.
Diamond acknowledges blocking Chris and declining at least one proposed meeting.
At the same time, she says Chris still has other avenues to communicate about their daughter and points to the New York Fashion Week invitation as evidence that she hasn’t completely prevented contact.
The larger custody case will ultimately require far more than Instagram screenshots to determine what efforts each parent has actually made.
Chris Says He Pays $10,000 a Month and Covers Major Expenses
The dispute isn’t only about parenting time.
Money has become another major battlefield.
Chris publicly said he pays Diamond $10,000 per month while also covering significant expenses associated with Lovely and Diamond’s lifestyle. He referenced housing, vehicles, school and medical costs while pushing back against the picture presented in Diamond’s court filing.
Diamond disputes parts of that account.
She says Chris does not simply give her $10,000 every month as he suggested.
She also pushed back against the implication that the cars and house mean she has little reason to seek additional support.
Diamond acknowledged being grateful that Chris provided the house and vehicles but said she is responsible for monthly payments associated with them. She also said one of the Mercedes vehicles Chris referenced had been given to her before Lovely was born.
She further alleged that support money was previously reduced after Chris discovered she was dating someone. That remains Diamond’s allegation and has not been established as a court finding.
The financial disagreement is particularly significant because Diamond is seeking substantially more support through court.
Diamond Says She Makes About $1,500 a Month
Diamond’s court declaration portrays an enormous income disparity between the two parents.
She identified herself as a social-media influencer and esthetician and reported approximately $1,500 in monthly income, while alleging that Chris earns millions of dollars per month.
Those estimates concerning Chris’s income are Diamond’s figures, not an independently verified accounting of his finances.
Her filings argue that she needs substantially greater support to provide Lovely with an appropriate standard of living.
Chris has pushed back publicly, pointing to the expenses he says he already pays.
The disagreement is now headed toward the kind of issue a court can examine using financial records rather than competing Instagram Stories.
And that is important because neither side’s social-media version determines the eventual child-support calculation.
Then Chris’s Other Children’s Mothers Entered the Fight
The dispute might have remained primarily between Chris and Diamond if other women in his family hadn’t entered the conversation.
Nia Guzman, who shares daughter Royalty with Chris, defended him.
Ammika Harris, the mother of his son Aeko, also defended his parenting.
Jada Wallace, Chris’s current partner and the mother of his youngest child, responded even more forcefully.
Jada called Diamond “ungrateful” and “miserable” while insisting that Chris takes care of his family. Nia described Chris as an active father who goes above and beyond, while Ammika similarly said his children are well taken care of. Chris then reposted the supportive messages to his own Instagram Story.
That changed the nature of the fight.
Diamond was no longer responding only to Chris.
She was responding to an entire public defense of him.
And that’s when another category of receipts appeared.
Diamond Pulls Out Alleged Messages With Nia Guzman
Diamond singled out Nia Guzman in her response and posted what she said were previous private conversations between them.
According to reporting on the screenshots, the purported messages show Nia discussing Chris and suggesting that he needed to reconsider some of the people around him. Diamond used the alleged exchange to question why Nia was now publicly presenting such a unified front with Chris.
XXL similarly reported that Diamond shared texts in which Nia appeared to speak critically about Chris before later publicly defending him.
Diamond’s point wasn’t necessarily that Nia had previously called Chris a bad father.
The available descriptions of the messages don’t establish that.
Instead, Diamond was trying to demonstrate that the private relationships among the women and Chris were more complicated than the united public response made them appear.
The screenshots were presented by Diamond and have not been independently authenticated in full.
They also represent conversations from a particular moment in time. People’s relationships and opinions can change.
Still, Diamond clearly believed the messages undermined the image of everyone being completely aligned behind the scenes.
Diamond Says Nia Was Telling Her What Was Happening With Chris and Jada
Diamond went even further in her video.
She accused Nia of previously feeding her private information about Chris’s relationship with Jada Wallace, including alleged details surrounding Jada’s pregnancy.
“Nia is your op,” Diamond said while addressing Chris, according to reporting on the video.
Diamond claimed Nia had been communicating information to her about what was happening between Chris and Jada before turning around and publicly defending Chris during the current dispute.
Again, that is Diamond’s characterization of their private communications.
The screenshots do not independently establish every allegation she made about Nia’s motives or the circumstances in which the conversations occurred.
But their release substantially widened what had started as a child-support dispute.
Now private conversations between the mothers of Chris’s children were being posted publicly.
Diamond Goes After Ammika and Jada Too
Nia wasn’t the only person Diamond addressed.
She questioned Ammika’s decision to enter the dispute and challenged Jada after Jada publicly criticized her.
Diamond dismissed suggestions that jealousy was driving her court battle with Chris.
“Everybody knows that he belongs to the streets so why would I be bitter about that?” Diamond said in her response.
Her argument was that she wasn’t seeking more child support because she wanted Chris romantically.
She maintained that her concerns were about their daughter, financial support and what she describes as Chris’s behavior toward men she has dated.
Whether a court ultimately agrees with Diamond’s financial position is a separate issue.
But her public response made clear that she isn’t backing away after Chris and the other women accused her of being bitter.
The Most Serious Allegation Still Hasn’t Been Proven by the Receipts
This distinction is essential.
Diamond has now produced screenshots that she says support portions of her account.
Those screenshots reportedly address communication about Lovely, an invitation to New York Fashion Week, outreach through Chris’s manager and previous private conversations with Nia.
That is not the same thing as publicly producing independent proof that Chris made death threats against her boyfriend.
Diamond’s allegations about threats remain allegations.
In her court declaration, she claimed Chris threatened her most recent boyfriend and his twin brother and that other people made threats as well. She said the behavior made her feel as though she was “living under siege.”
Chris denies the harassment allegations.
As of the material publicly reported, Diamond’s newly circulated screenshots should not be described as proving those alleged threats unless she releases evidence specifically documenting them and that material can be authenticated.
The receipts strengthen her public response on some disputed points.
They do not automatically prove everything in her court declaration.
Diamond Says the Lawyers Have More
Diamond has repeatedly suggested that what she posted online isn’t the entirety of the documentation she possesses.
She says her attorney has records supporting her account.
That could become much more important than Instagram.
Evidence submitted in court can be examined by both sides, challenged, authenticated and considered by a judge.
Social-media screenshots don’t receive that same testing.
Diamond has also warned that the dispute could become even more public.
“It’s going to get messier,” she said while suggesting she has additional material that could be released.
Whether she follows through remains to be seen.
Chris Has His Own Receipts Argument
Chris has also suggested that documentation will support his side.
His public response wasn’t simply an emotional denial.
He gave specific claims about money.
He said he pays $10,000 monthly.
He said he provides a home and vehicles.
He referenced Lovely’s school and medical expenses.
And he said Diamond has prevented him from spending time with their daughter.
Those are factual disputes that can potentially be tested.
Bank transfers can show payments.
Housing documents can show who pays what.
School and medical records can establish expenses.
Messages and call records can shed light on attempts to arrange parenting time.
Court filings can establish what each parent formally requested.
That is why the legal case remains much more important than whichever side wins a particular day on Instagram.
One Screenshot Doesn’t Explain Seven Months
Diamond’s New York Fashion Week messages are arguably her strongest public response to Chris’s claim that she simply refuses to let him see Lovely.
If authentic and complete, an invitation would show that at least on that occasion, she wasn’t preventing contact.
But it doesn’t automatically establish why Chris and Lovely went seven months without seeing one another.
There could be additional conversations.
There could be missed requests.
There could be disagreements over conditions.
There could be scheduling problems.
There could be communications neither side has released.
That’s precisely why the screenshots should be described as evidence Diamond says supports her account rather than definitive proof of the entire custody history.
The same standard applies to Chris.
His statement that Diamond prevented access doesn’t establish that she did.
Both claims require evidence.
Their Legal Battle Started Months Before This Instagram Explosion
The public feud is the latest phase of a custody case that began earlier in 2026.
Diamond sought legal and physical custody of Lovely while proposing visitation for Chris.
Chris opposed that arrangement and sought joint legal and physical custody.
The fight subsequently expanded into child support, finances and allegations concerning the former couple’s post-relationship interactions.
By October, those disagreements were no longer confined to court documents.
They had spilled onto Instagram.
And once Chris’s other co-parents joined the discussion, the situation became a full public family dispute.
The Receipts Matter — But So Does What They Don’t Show
Diamond promised documentation.
She produced documentation.
That is newsworthy.
Her screenshots appear to provide at least some support for her claim that the communication history is more complicated than Chris’s statement that she simply refused to let him see Lovely.
They also appear to show that Nia and Diamond previously communicated privately in ways that make their current public disagreement more complicated.
But the screenshots don’t resolve the case.
They don’t determine the appropriate amount of child support.
They don’t establish whether Diamond or Chris bears greater responsibility for seven months without a visit.
They don’t prove Diamond’s death-threat allegations.
And they don’t establish that every statement made by Chris or his other co-parents is false.
What they do establish is that Diamond wasn’t bluffing when she said she had material she was prepared to put online.
Now the Public Fight Has an Evidence War
The Chris Brown-Diamond Brown dispute has moved through several stages in only a matter of days.
First came Diamond’s court declaration.
Then came Chris’s public response.
Then came Nia, Ammika and Jada defending him.
Then Diamond went on camera.
Now come the screenshots.
The danger for everyone involved is that an active custody dispute involving a 4-year-old child is increasingly becoming a social-media evidence war.
Every Instagram Story creates another response.
Every response creates another screenshot.
Every screenshot threatens another revelation.
And Diamond has already suggested she isn’t finished.
For now, the clearest takeaway isn’t that her screenshots prove her entire case.
It’s that the public narrative surrounding Chris’s claim that Diamond simply kept him away from Lovely is no longer as straightforward as that original post made it sound.
Diamond said there were receipts.
Now she’s posting them.
The next question is what happens when those receipts — and whatever Chris has in response — move from Instagram into court.
