On May 12, 2026, Views hit 520 weeks on the Billboard 200. That is ten years on the album chart. Drake already had Take Care and Nothing Was the Same over that line. Three albums. Nobody else has three.
Michael Jackson had two: Thriller and the compilation The Essential Michael Jackson. That was the mark among male solo acts. Drake passed it.
The math is streaming-era math. Fifty-two weeks times ten is 520. Take Care (2011) was already the long-haul champion in his catalog at 687 weeks. Nothing Was the Same (2013) crossed in April 2026. Views (2016) joined this week and sat at No. 36 while it did it.
Those three records are the 2010s Drake run. Take Care is “Headlines,” “Marvins Room,” “The Motto.” NWTS is “Started From the Bottom,” “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” Views is “One Dance,” “Hotline Bling,” “Controlla,” and 13 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1. They never really left the chart because playlists do not retire albums the way radio used to.
The MJ comparison is the one Drake has been writing himself. He put Jackson’s voice on “Don’t Matter to Me.” On “First Person Shooter” with J. Cole he rapped that he was one away from Michael. This stat is not Hot 100 No. 1s. They are tied there at 13 for male solo artists. This one is catalog endurance: how long the albums stay on the 200 after the debut week is over.
Chart Data posted the update. Daily Rap Facts and Complex ran it the same day. The biopic era made Jackson’s name loud again. Drake’s answer was three decade-long albums and a new Iceman week sitting right next to the announcement.
Longevity on the Billboard 200 is not the same as being the King of Pop. It is a different scoreboard. On this scoreboard, as of May 12, 2026, Drake has more ten-year albums than anyone.
