Megan Thee Stallion is bringing Tina Snow back—and this time, she says she isn't concerned about who might take her lyrics personally.

In her September 2026 cover story with InStyle, Megan opened up about the next phase of her career and her forthcoming album, Act III, revealing that her fan-favorite Tina Snow alter ego is returning with a more unapologetic attitude.

For Megan, the timing isn't accidental.

“It’s time for Tina Snow because I finally have reached a point in my life and in my career where I learned that people who don’t like you, there’s nothing you can do to make them like you,” Megan told InStyle.

That realization appears to be shaping the way Megan is approaching her next album.

Rather than worrying about whether listeners interpret a lyric as a subliminal shot at someone in particular, Megan suggested she is increasingly comfortable allowing people to draw their own conclusions.

“Bitch, if you think it’s about you, maybe it is,” she said while discussing the forthcoming project.

Tina Snow Is Returning

Tina Snow has been one of the defining alter egos of Megan’s career, representing the sharper, more aggressive and bar-heavy side of her music.

The persona became especially prominent with Megan’s 2018 Tina Snow project, which helped establish her nationally before the commercial breakthrough that followed.

Now Megan is revisiting that character from a different point in her life.

She previously teased that the new version of Tina has matured alongside her, saying, “Tina is grown now” and noting that the character has experienced considerable life since fans last heard from her.

The distinction matters because Megan isn't simply attempting to recreate the sound or circumstances of the original Tina Snow era.

Earlier in September, she acknowledged that Act III had been taking longer partly because she was trying to create something capable of capturing the feeling of “Cognac Queen,” a standout from Tina Snow, without simply making the same song again.

That suggests Act III could draw heavily from the attitude that made Tina Snow popular while presenting an older version of the character shaped by everything Megan has experienced since 2018.

Megan Says She Can't Make Everybody Like Her

The attitude behind Tina’s return also reflects a broader shift in how Megan views criticism.

Megan told InStyle that becoming increasingly famous forced her to recognize that she had spent too much time making herself available to people and wanting everyone to like her. She eventually learned to create more separation between Megan Thee Stallion, the public performer, and Megan Pete, the person behind the celebrity persona.

That evolution appears to be feeding directly into her music.

Her comments about Act III suggest she isn't interested in explaining every bar or reassuring listeners that a particular lyric isn't directed at them.

If someone hears a line and believes Megan is talking about them, she appears willing to let that interpretation stand.

The approach could make Act III one of Megan’s most closely scrutinized albums, particularly given the highly publicized conflicts, relationships and personal changes she has experienced in recent years.

But Megan's comments shouldn't be interpreted as confirmation that particular unreleased lyrics target any specific person. She has instead framed the new attitude more broadly as refusing to control how other people react to what she says.

The Next Chapter of ‘Megan’

Act III is expected to continue the album series Megan began with her self-titled 2024 album, Megan, followed by Megan: Act II later that year.

She has spent much of 2026 gradually teasing the third installment without announcing an official release date.

The project arrives during a period in which Megan is expanding far beyond music. Her InStyle profile highlighted businesses and projects spanning tequila, fragrance, swimwear, pet products and other ventures as she attempts to build what she describes as a broader “Hot Girl Universe.”

Music, however, remains at the center of that universe.

And for Act III, Megan is reaching back to one of the characters that helped introduce audiences to her in the first place.

Tina Snow is coming back.

But Megan is making clear that this isn't the same Tina fans met years ago. She is older, less interested in pleasing critics and apparently much less concerned about who thinks the next bar is about them.

If the shoe fits, Megan seems prepared to let listeners wear it.
