Police showed up at Blueface’s Santa Clarita house after a Kick pool stream. Nevaeh Akira told them she was not kicked in the stomach and that she was fine. Nobody was arrested.
The call was a welfare check, not a raid. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department went to the property after viewers watched the rapper use his foot to send his pregnant girlfriend into the water and decided the bit looked like a kick. TMZ’s law-enforcement sources put it Wednesday night into the August 13 window; other desks dated the stream Thursday the 13th. The user’s August 12 is close enough to the same midweek clip. Officers found the couple later during in-home massages, asked the questions on camera, and left without a booking.
What the stream shows, as The Shade Room and the UK recaps described it: Blueface and Nevaeh jogging toward the pool holding hands. He stops short. His leg comes up into her lower back. She goes in. She comes up asking who pushed her, then says it hurt and she did not like it. He first says he barely kicked her. She repeats, “You kicked me?” He changes the verb to push. He does a similar shove to her young son, Superior. He laughs from the deck. That sequence is why phones dialed 911 and why the comments split into “horseplay” and “she is pregnant.”
On the welfare check she did not adopt the comment section’s charge sheet. Asked about a physical altercation: no. Asked specifically whether she was kicked in the stomach: “No, I wasn’t kicked in my stomach.” She said she was pregnant as hell, invited the questions, denied medical distress, declined firefighters. TMZ: she told them there was no altercation and no injuries. No arrest followed. That is her statement to deputies, not a blog’s theory of what a foot on a lower back “really” was.
Viewers are allowed to flinch when a man near a due date uses a kick-shaped motion to put a pregnant woman in a pool on a public stream. A welfare check is what that flinch is for. Deputies are also allowed to close the call when the person they came to check says she was not struck in the abdomen and does not want a medic. Those two facts can sit in the same paragraph. One does not cancel the other.
This was already a loud week in that house. Days earlier he and Chrisean Rock were in a San Diego hot tub calling themselves bigger than Jay and Beyoncé, then in an SUV that deputies searched after an equipment stop. The pool clip is a different camera and a different woman. Do not flatten them into one morality play. Do not treat a child’s shove into water as a punchline either.
Blueface’s first word on the stream was kick. His second was push. Nevaeh’s first word after the splash was that it hurt. Her word to police was that her stomach was not the target and that she was okay. The internet wanted a crime scene. The sheriff’s desk, on this visit, logged a check and a no. Pregnancy is not a prop. A livestream is not a referee. If she later changes the story, that will be a new file. This file is the foot, the water, the call, and her sentence on camera: she was not kicked in the stomach, and she said she was fine.
