The White House Official TikTok Account Goes Viral After Dropping a Drake ICEMAN Edit to Promote President Donald Trump’s Focus on Immigration
May 15–16, 2026. Album night.
The official White House X account posted a doctored ICEMAN cover: the jeweled glove holding a diamond MAGA chain. Caption: ICED OUT.
The official TikTok followed with an edit. Outro from the album — coverage cites “Make Them Know” / “Make Them Now” depending on the write-up — over chopper shots, a snowy carpet, ICE operational footage, and “Iceman baby, freeze the world.” The joke is the acronym. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Ice. ICEMAN.
Later in the summer the same account put “Hoe Phase” from Maid of Honour under more arrest footage. Caption: if you’re here illegally, you’re going home. On-screen text lifted “did you forget about back home.” Bad Bunny’s “La Mudanza” got the same treatment with swapped lyrics aimed at the president.
This White House has used pop catalogs as B-roll for enforcement clips before. Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Foo Fighters and others have said they did not authorize it. Beyoncé’s camp has been in that pile on other spots. Drake, as of the reporting around the first ICEMAN posts, said nothing public.
Silence is not a co-sign. It is also not a cease-and-desist in the feed. The government does not need an artist’s mood to post a fair-use argument and a caption. The artist can still hate the cut. Fans in the replies already did.
ICEMAN is a Toronto album about a beef, a label, a father, a chart week. The administration heard a three-letter agency. That is branding gravity, not a studio session. The edit going viral is the point of the account. The music going under raids is the part that starts the rights argument.
The graphic is Trump applauding, Drake in the white coat with a painted tear. Two images that never shared a release plan. One account mashed the names because ice is a word that works on both posters. That is the whole mechanic.
