“Make Them Cry,” opening of ICEMAN. Drake, present tense and hurt:

Our brother sold his chain the other day and said that someone snatched it. I’m still processing that shit. He pawned it for cash. To me he sold the only thing that has ever mattered. I could never forgive that.

No government name. Owl chain. Former friend. The comments started a lineup.

Joe Budden’s pod walked the line. He praised the album, then landed on Top5. Top5 shouldn’t have had an owl chain. Co-hosts pushed back: Drake sounds wounded. Top5 already burned that bridge. Why would the sale still sting?

Top5 put it on IG Story. I never owned an owl chain in my life you fool. @joebudden I’LL BOOM IT ON YOU.

Boom, in that lane, is not a metaphor for a diss track. It is a threat. The post is public. The chain, if it exists, is still unnamed.

Top5 and Drake were close enough that people defaulted to him. Then the Toronto split, the records, the sides. Joe treating him as the type who would pawn the bird is the insult on top of the guess. Top5’s answer is: wrong guy, and watch your mouth.

Drake did not caption the verse with a tag. That is how these bars work. Everyone auditions for the role. Joe cast Top5. Top5 declined the part and added a warning. Until Drake says a name, the chain is a writing prompt. The Story is the only on-record denial from the man Joe picked.

The graphic is young Top5 in the Kenzo hoodie with a different pendant, Joe in the cream coat and hat. Two photos that never shared a chain. One lyric, one guess, one threat. The owl is still off-camera.
