Cardi B turned her Philadelphia stop into a hometown moment on April 7, 2026, when she brought out Meek Mill during her Little Miss Drama Tour at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
The surprise came mid-show. Meek walked out to perform “Dreams and Nightmares,” the 2012 track that has become a Philly anthem. The sold-out crowd immediately took over the song. Fans rapped every bar so loud that Meek later said he could barely hear the beat.
“It was sooo loud I couldn’t hear myself on beat lol,” he wrote after posting a clip. He captioned it “Shake the building @iamcardib.”
Cardi stayed on stage throughout, hyping the crowd, jumping in on lyrics, and telling the arena to make noise. She later shouted out Jazmine Sullivan and Patti LaBelle, both in attendance.
The pairing made sense on paper. Meek is from North Philly. Cardi and Meek previously worked together on “On Me” from his 2018 album Championships. They had also been seen together at events years earlier.
The appearance still carried extra heat because of Cardi’s long feud with Nicki Minaj. Meek dated Nicki from 2015 to 2017. Outlets quickly framed the moment as Cardi bringing out Nicki’s ex in his own city. Inside the building, it played more like a straight celebration of a Philly record.
The night was another sold-out date on Cardi’s first headlining tour behind her album Am I the Drama?. She had already brought out a long list of guests on other stops, including Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Kim, GloRilla, and others. Meek was the only featured artist that night in Philadelphia.
The tour wrapped later that month after additional dates in Washington, D.C., the Carolinas, Florida, and Atlanta.
