DJ Vlad Says Pooh Shiesty Could Have Gotten Away With Forcing Gucci Mane’s Contract If He Did It in Private
DJ Vlad weighed in on the alleged Gucci Mane robbery and kidnapping by arguing Pooh Shiesty blew a plan that might have stayed in the streets.
In the post on the graphic, Vlad wrote that Pooh “could have gotten away with forcing Gucci Mane to sign over the contract if he had met him in private and pulled out a gun on him.” His take: Gucci probably would not have called police and would have “quietly took his L.”
Instead, Vlad said, Pooh brought his father, Big30, and six other men who robbed everyone with Gucci and posted stolen items on Instagram. Vlad asked if they even talked about what would happen after the robbery.
That matches the federal case. Prosecutors say on January 10, 2026, Pooh Shiesty set a Dallas studio meeting about his 1017 deal, pulled an AK-style pistol, and forced Gucci to sign a release. The group then allegedly took jewelry, watches, and cash. Nine people were charged. Pooh is being held without bond. Trial is set for February 2027.
Gucci answered on record with “Crash Dummy,” rapping that he thought it was a business meeting and it was a setup, and that after all that Pooh is still signed to him.
Vlad’s point is the same one a lot of people made after the arrests: the contract play might have stayed quiet. The crew, the extra victims, and the Instagram posts made it a federal case.
