Drake’s Stake Anniversary Stream: A NELK “20 vs 1,” a Bark, a House for Someone’s Mom, and “The Pen Isn’t Dry”
August 8, 2026, on Kick. Stake’s ninth birthday — the crypto casino that has underwritten Drake streams for years — put more than a million dollars in cash and prizes on the table and three hours on the clock. Kyle Forgeard of NELK walked into the frame with an SNL-shaped bit: twenty women, speed rounds, three labels at the end. Wife. Hookup. Best friend.
NELK posted the cut, 20 WOMEN VS DRAKE, to YouTube the next day, August 9. The raw night was already a clip farm.
The format, not a romance
Forgeard’s version of 20-v-1 is not The Bachelor. It is a conveyor: short conversations, chat scoring the W’s, Drake assigning roles like a man sorting a group chat. The three names that survived the edit were consistent across Rolling Stone, HotNewHipHop, LADbible, and Vulture.
Pinkchyu — goth streamer, Texas, fangs in the recap — got the “wife” tag. She asked him to bark. He barked. “Good boy.” He asked what to buy her; she said a house for her mother; he said he would. She posted after that she was the goth baddie he had been talking about since the Bobbi Althoff tape in 2025. That is the clip that will outlive the giveaway.
Lena the Plug — married to Adam22 — was in the rotation. Recaps had her taking off the ring on camera, a hall-pass joke, $25,000 and a trip (New Zealand in some write-ups). Rolling Stone filed her in the prize tier with Jordyn Lucas, who also left with cash and a Birkin in the same accounting.
Lily Phillips — the British adult performer whose 101-in-a-day stunt had already made her a tabloid noun — did not land in the final three. She later told the Daily Star the trip was thrown together in two days, that each woman in the YouTube version got a $10,000 check, that the afterparty was chicken nuggets with caviar until 5 a.m., and that he was handing out Birkins. She framed the public seating as the opposite of a celebrity DM that wants the footage private.
None of that is a marriage license. It is a sponsored night with categories designed to trend.
The other monologue on the same stream
Before or beside the dating bit, he did the music paragraph the blogs had already typeset:
He appreciated the last few months. He dropped three on their head-top — Iceman, Habibti, Maid of Honour on May 15, the Billboard 200’s first 1-2-3 debut, Iceman the rapper No. 1 that passed Jay-Z’s count on that chart. “These guys are dropping albums, like hello and goodbye, and careful with that reply ’cause the pen isn’t dry.”
Same broadcast, different product. One half is a bark and a mortgage joke. The other half is a warning that does not name Kendrick, Ross, Rocky, or Jay, and then a separate line other recaps heard as Roc Nation subpoenas about to clear. Akademiks floated a yacht joke as a Yachty poke; Drake said no. The dating show is what NELK sold. The pen line is what the rap internet filed.
What Stake bought
A three-hour commercial that looked like content. Slots on screen. A $50,000 viewer prize in the company posts. Creator guests. A 39-year-old turning 40 in two months, as Vulture framed it, optimizing the feed: luxury, women, a gambling logo, a sentence about unfinished verses. Kyle Forgeard is the host because NELK is the machine that already knows how to make a man pick a “wife” on a livestream without calling it a proposal.
What it is not
It is not a relationship status. Pinkchyu’s mom’s house, if it closes, is a stream promise with lawyers attached. Lena’s ring bit is a bit. Lily’s check is talent fee. The 20-v-1 categories — wife / pipe / friend — are the joke structure, not a courtship. The pen is still the only part of the night that maps onto a chart.
August 8 was a casino anniversary that rented a rapper and a sketch troupe. August 9 was a YouTube URL. The frenzy is both videos at once: the bark and the threat. He can do the first because the second already shipped three albums. The chat can pretend they are the same night. Billboard already knows which one counts.
