On “Make Them Pay”: Fuck a Big Three anyway. There was too many chefs in the kitchen. It was a mess to begin with.
That is the obituary for a marketing slogan that became a war. “First Person Shooter,” late 2023. Cole: is it K-Dot, is it Aubrey, or me? We the Big Three like we started a league. Five months later Future’s “Like That.” Kendrick: motherfuck the Big Three, it’s just big me. Then the spring of 2024. Then Cole stepped offstage at Dreamville and apologized for entering. Then “Not Like Us.” Then two years of Drake writing the reply album.
The same song does not only kill the brand. It names the friend who left. Your niggas run and talk to Hov for a second opinion. Me, I stood ten Ts and accepted the mission. I’d much rather death than submission. I love you because of the history, but if we being real, I could never forgive you. You never called me back.
That is Cole, in Drake’s telling: the married rapper who pressed ignition, then let old memories cut the trip short, then asked Jay. Drake says he stayed in the mission. Cole says he chose peace. Both versions have been public since 2024. ICEMAN is Drake refusing to file the peace.
Kendrick is the other panel. Dust: I don’t remember one word of your raps. Make Them Remember: GNX mid. The bot-farm clip. The million-people LA boast. The UMG case. The Big Three line is how he puts Cole and Kendrick in the same kitchen he now says was overcrowded.
The graphic is the trio that never posed together for this caption. Drake in a Reds jersey. Cole in a black hoodie, dreads down. Kendrick onstage in the clover cap. The phrase that linked them is the phrase Drake just cursed. Too many chefs. The meal still happened. He is the only one still plating it in 2026.
