Projected Numbers: Drake (ICEMAN) 475K, (Maid of Honour) 120K, (Habibti) 120K
HitsDailyDouble and the tracker accounts put those bands out on May 16, two days after the surprise triple drop. ICEMAN 480–520K. Maid of Honour 115–135K. Habibti 110–130K. Combined 705–785K. The graphic rounded the middle of the ranges.
Billboard’s week ending May 21, chart dated May 30, is the official tape.
- Iceman — No. 1, 463,000 equivalent album units. About 449K from streams (~462 million on-demand plays across 18 tracks), 13K pure sales, 1K TEA. Second-largest album week of 2026 at the time. Biggest R&B/hip-hop week of the year. Largest 2026 streaming week for any album.
- Habibti — No. 2, 114,000.
- Maid of Honour — No. 3, 110,000.
First act to debut at Nos. 1, 2, and 3 on the Billboard 200 in the same week. First time any act owned the top three at once since the chart went weekly in 1956.
The projection was high by about 12–15K on ICEMAN and almost exact on the two satellites. That is a good forecast, not a miss that rewrites the story. Streaming did the labor. Pure sales were a rounding error next to the play counts.
Three projects in one night split the audience on purpose. ICEMAN took the rebuttal and the volume. The other two took the leftover attention and still opened six figures. Apple had already stacked them 1-2-3 on its own album chart in the first hours. Spotify gave “Make Them Cry” a single-day hip-hop record in the same window.
475 / 120 / 120 was the rumor mill. 463 / 114 / 110 is the magazine. Both describe the same week: one man, three titles, the whole podium. The fur coat in the elevator is the still they used while the counters were still moving. The counters stopped. He still had one through three.
