Drake Freezes 2 Courtside Seats in Anticipation for His New Album “Iceman”
Before the Toronto Raptors’ April 12, 2026 home finale against the Brooklyn Nets, Drake’s two courtside seats at Scotiabank Arena were covered in faux ice and hanging icicles.
The Raptors posted the display with the caption “Drake’s seats froze.” Drake liked it and shared the photo to his Instagram story. The look was a clear tease for his upcoming album Iceman.
By tipoff the ice was gone and the seats sat empty. Toronto still won 136-101 and clinched the fifth seed in the East. The frozen chairs were the pregame story.
Drake had already told Nelly Furtado at the Junos that Iceman was coming soon. It was his first solo album since For All the Dogs in 2023. The iced seats were one of several rollout stunts that followed, including a giant ice sculpture downtown with the release date inside.
