Kick streamer Sneako was punched on camera while walking through Manhattan on April 14, 2026.
The clip shows him on Lafayette Street near East 4th Street, looking at his phone during an IRL livestream. A man in a maroon shirt and beanie steps in and hits him in the face, then pulls him toward the ground. The camera drops. Audio picks up a short scuffle.
Sneako, whose legal name is Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, told police he was assaulted and pepper-sprayed. He had a chipped tooth and minor injuries. He posted, “I’m fine we got it handled,” and went live again about an hour later.
On the follow-up stream he said he got hit a few times, stood up, and the man sprayed him and ran. He later called it a setup or paid hit. NYPD said the suspect was at large at the time. A man was later arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
Sneako is a controversial manosphere streamer previously banned from YouTube and Twitch. The punch video spread fast because it happened mid-rant, on a busy NYC street, in daylight.
