Wiz Khalifa Watched Drake Bark for Pinkchyu and Said the Internet Lost Its Mind Over Nothing. Would He Have Barked? “Fuck Yeah.”
August 8, 2026: Drake on Kick, NELK’s Kyle Forgeard, Stake anniversary energy, a 20-versus-1 speed-date. Goth creator Pinkchyu (Lin Lamar) asked about roleplay, then whether he would bark for her. He did. A bark and a little whimper. She called him a good boy. He later put her in the “wife” slot and joked about a house for her mom. The same week he had old IShowSpeed advice in the quote-tweets — stop barking at women off the rip — which is why the clip grew teeth.
A few days later Wiz Khalifa pulled the tape on a live. Complex filed it August 14–15. Chat was still doing the aura autopsy. Wiz had not seen it yet. He watched.
“He whimpered a little bit. No, he didn’t lose all his aura. It’s not that bad. That’s funny.”
Then the part that ended the segment: what did they want Drake to do on a dating show built as a bit — sit up straight and refuse? “Would I bark in that situation? Fuck yeah.”
That is the defense. Not a treatise. A Pittsburgh shrug.
Why anyone needed a defense
Barking is a meme, a kink joke, a streamer dare, and, if you want it to be, a masculinity crisis. Drake chose the dare. The people who already wanted him small called it submission. The people who already wanted him charming called it game. Wiz picked door three: it is a show, she asked, he played, sit down.
He did not claim Drake is a role-play saint. He claimed the reaction was out of scale. “I don’t know what you guys expect from these people.” That sentence is the whole review of 2026 influencer court.
The Speed problem, still hanging
Drake telling Speed not to bark and then barking on command is funny because it is cheap hypocrisy, not because it is a crime. Wiz did not try to unwrite that. He just refused to treat a Kick bit as a deposition. You can hold both: the advice was real, the bark was a bit, the timeline is exhausting.
Back on Figg and the rest of the week
The user’s brief places Wiz on Back on Figg. He has history with that room; the clip Complex ran is a livestream pull-up of the same footage. Either way the quote is the quote. Taylor Gang does not need a white paper on pet play. Wiz laughed, whimper-noted, and volunteered for the same assignment.
Pinkchyu got a career week out of a request. Drake got a week of “good boy” edits and a toilet-paper heel clapback in the same news cycle. Wiz got thirty seconds of being the reasonable uncle. None of them need a senate hearing.
If the standard for losing aura is making an animal noise on a gambling-platform date show, the standard was already on the floor. Wiz stepped over it and barked in theory. That, he suggested, is what a functioning adult does when a goth asks nicely and the cameras are already on. Not that bad. Funny. Next.
